The Tie Top Shoulder Bag is a reversible hobo-sling bag that has a snap closure to its large opening.Ê Choose two coordinating fabrics, as they both will be showcased on the exterior of the bag and swapped for the lining! This bag has simple construction, but sewists must have simple concept of bag-making skills.Ê
With plenty of diagrams, color photos, and easy to read instructions, this is a great project for kids who have sewing machine experience.Ê

¥ right sides together
¥Êadhering interfacing
¥Êboxing corners
Material Requirements:Ê
Use woven fabrics such as quilting cotton, linen or flannel.Ê
¥ Selection of non-directional quilting cotton:
– Main fabric: 1 yard
– Lining fabric: 1 yard
¥ 1-1/4 yards of medium-weight fusible interfacing (we recommend Pellon SF101)
¥ (1) set of 5/8Ó magnetic snaps
¥ 1 spool of coordinating threadÊ
