Tell me about the Este Shirt Kit

Este is a pattern which allows you to make 2 versions of a buttoned shirt. It’s an oversized model with dropped shoulders, a back yoke and pleat. You can choose between a classic shirt collar and a lapel collar, and between a long sleeve with cuffs, or a wider, short sleeve. A front and back facing are included for the lapel collar. 

In the pictures we made the following versions:

–  the classic shirt collar and the long sleeves in the white with black print viscose

– the classic shirt collar and the long sleeves in the pecan brown with black leaves

– the lapel collar and short sleeve in the Mint green viscose with painted flower print

**In our kit you will have all the fabric and notions to make the Lapel version with the short sleeves

You can follow the instructions which come with the pattern or follow Andrea’s full  sewalong. Andrea also shows you how to ‘burrito’ finish the shirt yoke. This is a change made by Andrea to the pattern design )

• Fabric in a  choice of colour ways- Length depends on the size chosen-Size34-42 1.5mtrs. Size 44-52 1.8mtrs, 
• 0.4mtrs fusible interfacing
• A reel of matching Gutermann thread.
• 5 matching buttons (these may vary from pics)
