The idea behind designing this quilt was to make a simple quilt that still has a pattern to it, but is so simple anyone could stitch it! I think this quilt is the perfect size for a summer picnic or for the kids to lay on while they watch the Fourth of July fireworks. If you want a bed quilt add a 10″ border for an 88″x88″ finished quilt(six yds backing). Finished size is 68’x68″. Four yds. backing is needed. #simple#pattern#fourthofjuly#picnic#layercake
