Brandt Beach Bag – by Studio M Squared

Never again will the bottom of your beach bag be full of sand! Our Brandt Beach Bag is made with mesh fabric so all that sand that inevitably gets in your bag just falls right through. Brandt is generously sized so you can carry a large towel, change of clothes, and everything else you need for a day at the beach. Plus, there are two large slip pockets on the outside and a small zippered pocket on the inside for securing valuables. Super lightweight and foldable, Brandt easily tucks into your suitcase. Fill her up and head for the beach!

Recommended Materials:

• Main Fabric (Pockets, trim, and bindings): Quilting cotton
• Accent Fabric (Pocket linings): Quilting cotton
• Mesh Fabric: By Annie’s Lighweight Mesh Fabric by the yard, or any lightweight polyester mesh fabric, at least 24” (61cm) wide
• Webbing: 1-1/2” (3.81cm) wide
• Fusible Interfacing: Pellon SF101

Tools Needed:
• Rotary cutter, cutting mat & ruler or fabric scissors
• Pins and/or clips
• Disappearing ink fabric marker or tailor’s chalk
• Point turner

Notions Needed:
• (1) spool of thread
• (1) 9” (23cm) plastic zipper
