This pillow pair uses the same floral banding on each to embellish spring sentiments stitched on vibrant fabrics! The floral bands have been frayed at the edges to give them a tattered or vintage look, and the top and bottom of each band has been sewn into the seam of the pillow. The contrast of the two colored fabrics on each pillow adds depth, texture and interest to these oversized beauties!

“You Belong Among the Wildflowers”, from the the classic Top Petty song is written in script lettering that has been justified to the left and accompanies a single floral band.

“There are always flowers for those who choose to see them” is inspired by quote by Henri Matisse and it sits between two mirrored floral bands.

“You belong amoung…” is stitched on 36 count Slate by Fiber on a Whim, “There are always Flowers” is stitched on 40 count Red Pear linen by Weeks Dye Works, “Floral Band” is stitched on 36 count Parchment using Classic Colorworks threads. Stitch counts are “You Belong…”109 x 100, “There are always Flowers” 125 x 78, and “Floral Band” is 38 x 141. Finished sizes are 6.06 in wide X 5.56 in high, 6.25 in wide X 3.9 in high, and 2.11 in wide X 7.83 in high.
