• August Session: Tuesday, August 18 – 6pm-9pm
• September Session: Tuesday, September 29 – 10:30am-1:30pm

The Preview Pouch is a vinyl-front pouch that let’s you peek before you reach! It features a zipper closure that keeps everything secure yet instantly accessible – store your favorite notions, threads, cosmetics, and more. Once you make one for yourself, you’ll want to make many more!

In this 2-week class, students will learn how to work with vinyl, install a zipper, and practice topstitching. This class is suitable for intermediate level students who have prior bag making experience. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.

Required Materials:

• (1) Project Kit: Preview Pouch – includes pattern, two coordinating fabrics, pre-cut vinyl, interfacing, zipper + zipper pull, and thread!

Alternatively, if you do not wish to purchase a Project Kit, you will need:

• • (1) Pattern: Preview Pouch by Studio M Squared 
  • 1/4 yard of main fabric
  • 1/4 yard accent fabric
  • 1/4 yard of Pellon SF101
  • (1) 6″ x 10″ piece of vinyl
  • (1) 14″ zipper
  • (1) spool of coordinating thread

Recommended Fabrics:

• We suggest using quilting cotton or canvas for the exterior of this bag.
